Piano Generation was founded in 2019 by our Piano Tutor / Head of School, Kieren Ong. Our studios consist of 5 teachers and 100+ students.
Our Vision
To provide the highest quality, private piano lessons in Adelaide for our students; and
Attract, develop, and retain the best teachers in Adelaide by striving to provide a sustainable, long term career for our teachers.
Unlike many music schools, our teachers are not independent contractors, but trained and experienced team members of Piano Generation. We work, train, (and eat!) together to ensure we provide the best quality service and music education to our students, helping our students Learn, Play, and most importantly Enjoy piano and music.
Kieren - Head of School / Piano Tutor
Marden SA
With over 20 years of experience, Kieren teaches from our Marden studio to both children and adults of all standards. As South Australia’s only TopMusic Certified Teacher, Kieren is dedicated to establishing a studio that fosters creative teaching through a holistic and integrated approach, prioritising a student-centric method of teaching.

Minyi - Piano and Flute Tutor
Magill SA
Minyi has been teaching privately since 2016, before joining our team in 2023. With over 20 years of experience on the piano and flute, she has performed both as a soloist and in orchestras. Minyi has a special interest in Classical music, but teaches with an open-mind, guiding and helping her students explore different styles of music. Minyi teaches our adult and young students from her home studio at Magill.

Danika - Piano Tutor
Broadview SA
Danika is a multi-talented musician who has been playing the piano for over 10 years. While she started her musical journey playing classical pieces, she also enjoys exploring modern and contemporary styles. Danika has performed in a variety of settings, including solo performances, bands, and orchestras. In addition to her piano skills, she also knows how to play the violin.
Danika joined Piano Generation in 2023 and teaches from her home studio in Broadview, sharing her passion for music with others.

Amanda - Piano Tutor
Brompton SA
Amanda joined Piano Generation in 2022 and teaches Piano from her Brompton home studio. She has played the piano and keyboard for over 20 years, and over these years had the opportunity to explore and study many areas of music, with special interest in Jazz, Pop, and Worship music. Being a pianist and keyboardist for bands and churches, Amanda has extensive experience with on-stage live music performances.

Franrick - Piano Tutor
Ingle Farm SA
Franrick joined Piano Generation as a student in 2019, studying under the guidance of our Director, Kieren Ong. He has over 10 years of experience on the piano, and has a special interest in film music, particularly those from Anime and Asian Drama.
Franrick continues his study with Kieren and now work with some of our students, teaching from his Ingle Farm home studio.
